Experience The American Bach Soloists’ performance of Handel’s Messiah

When George Frideric Handel originally wrote his epic oratorio, Messiah, it was met with tepid reviews. Fast-forward more than 250 years, and it still is being performed around the country today. Handel’s Messiah is one of the most popular musical works of all-time.

Enjoy a replay of a performance of the piece by The American Bach Soloists, who annually sing Messiah around the Christmas holidays. The show will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. in the Medford Leas Theater, located at One Medford Leas Way, and will feature soloists Mary Wilson, Eric Jurenas and Kyle Stegall, conducted by Jeffrey Thomas. The state-of-the-art projection screen and surround sound system at Medford Leas that will immerse you in the show. Enjoy scrumptious hors d’oeuvres and other delicacies during intermission.

Jeffrey Thomas is Artistic and Music Director of the American Bach Soloists; he is working on a manuscript entitled “Handel’s Messiah: A Life of Its Own.” The great performance and cuisine at Medford Leas provides for an almost in-person experience.
